Demon Studio - Ylondra Horns
I have been experimenting with design style as I move my horn designs forward and I have to say, these turned out really quite lovely.
These are quite different for two reasons. Firstly is the multi prong design on the tips I have experimented with before and the claw design which is quite unique. Secondly though is the inset gem channels along the length of the horns adding that extra little bit of beauty.
As always, these are Tartarus style dark horns with tassles, chains, inset gems all fully controllable on texture, colour etc via the Unlimited 3 HUDs which is free in my stores.
Priced at 250L$ these are a beautiful addition to any demon avatar.

Demon Studio - Vespar 6 Hooves now available
These may have taken a while to produce, but I can finally announce the release of Vespar 6 Female Demon hooves. These revised hooves come with a fitted mesh stand alone version that can be used with the original SL avatar and potentially other mesh bodies.
You get Omega Advanced support, as well as a clothing and tattoo layer plus a daily hud to operate those layers.
As with all Tartarus Fusion hooves though, you get Fusion support as well giving you seamless body integration.
Due to the design the selection is limited to slimmer styles of body however you get tailored legs for:
Fusion Ultima Genesis, Model, Athletic, Skinny, Anime, Andro, All Woman, Wideloads Classic, and finally Tutodo.
You get all the usual refinements including huge options on the bone set ups through the Demon Studio Unlimited 3 system, glow colour and control and more.
These hooves being a direct update from the originals are also available as a free update for existing customers.
Enjoy!

Tartarus Legs Maitreya Update
Customers have been asking for this update for quite a while now, and I am pleased to say I finally got around to it.
Yes, all the Tartarus Legs - Aezor, Dragoness, Necrosol, Skizma and Zarnar - have now been updated to include a Maitreya ready set of legs.
These are not like Fusion - they simply overlay the Maitreya body. There is a seam line.
However I have taken great pain in getting the texture joints to line up as best as is possble, and I think you can see from the picture above, the job is very complete.
No photo trickery there.
These are a free update for people who already have the legs. Just wear your updater or head in store to use the redelivery system.
Enjoy!

Fusion Ultima Drider
Sometimes, things go according to plan. Other times, things just tend to happen. This one falls in to the latter category.
That is exactly what it looks like. It's a Drider.
It is also not exactly the regular fare for SL when it comes to Driders.
This is a full on Fusion Ultima Drider, built in Fitted Mesh.
It features functional legs pain stakingly weight painted to give the best illusion of independent movement. Highly detailed spider body with multiple zone texture areas, 22 two tone body textures, Abdomen overlay with 4 choices of textures. Legs and Abdomen are separate texture zones too. It comes with highly detailed materials.
The Human side matched in perfectly to the Spider body, comes with all the usual Fusion Ultima Benefits including clothing, anatomy etc. It also comes in two version - Blending in or no blend giving you choice to use the skin of your choice.
The Upper body and breasts are regular Fusion Ultima models from the Genesis body, which also means you can customise both of these areas with your choice of Breasts and upper bodies from the Fusion Range.
The Photo Shows the body using the LTX Kalis Cyber Latex outfit in black, which is not included.
Demos are available so you can try before you buy. The Full body is 2000L$ - some would say that is a steal at that price considering the detail work thats gone in to this.
Already own Fusion? Don't worry. I did a Pix n Mix Torso only too. That is 1000L$ and will match to your existing Fusion parts!
You can find the Drider in the Fusion Main stores (Pheadra and Deaths Head) and in the Demon Studio too.
Enjoy!

Demon Studio - Iconica Horns Now Available
Iconica are very large Captial style horns that represent a bit of a departure for me, in that they are actually beautifully detailed, but very simple.
No metal or blades or gems etc. Just straight up, get the point horns.
But with a little bit of a twist.
As you can see, these are Omega and ADV ready. Where the horns join the head, there is a flesh sleeve that wraps on to the horn, and this sleeve is actually SL UV compatible with the Avatars head, to match up.
Out of the box they work with Violet Studios ADV appliers for skin, and they also include a simple HUD you can wear that will, with the Omega Installer from Omega that costs 99L$ and works with all Violet Studios Products like Fusion etc, you can use Omega appliers too.
If you dont want that though, I have also included a second version which doesnt need skin appliers but uses bones instead.
You get the usual suspects though. Regular or Tones Versions, Materials enhanced, U3 ready with 140+ textures to play with for the bone, and the Materials applier system ready.
And they are just 200L$...
Enjoy!

Tartarus Male Accessories Released & New U3 Materials HUD
Following on from yesterdays release of the New Demoness Horns, Tails and Spikes, I am very pleased to announce the arrival in store of the Male versions of these accessories. In total, you now have 31 Products released on this, with six kind of new to male products in there.
For a full break down, see yesterdays post however, there is some eyecandy below.
One thing that has always bugged me though was the fact when it came to males, you dont really want a whole lot of shine going on. Back using older tech, even the lowest setting of shine make the horns look too ... polished... for males.
Sitting down this morning, I decided to take a fresh look at the male shine issues and also come up with some new materials settings to play with.
As usual, it all got out of hand.... the result is an entirely new Unlimited 3 Materials pack for the bone on these products. These are now in store - just grab the Unlimited 3 box again and you will find the male pack in the box.
With these new Materials you get 10 more "industrial" style materials options, which are rougher and darker than the female, although you could use them on the female without any issues.
The big change though is a minimal value shine factoring for the male horns. These are light shine items, with soft accents but they are still there.
I couldnt describe them if I tried... so best thing to do is try them out for yourself - U3 is always free.

Demon Studio - Tartarus Horns, Tail and Spike
Many years ago, I started a small studio on Second Life - the Demon Studio. It started with some hooves, a few tails, a few horns and some skins.
Seven years later, Second Life has changed, and its way overdue I brought those products in to the Mesh and Materials Age.
I am very pleased to announce the finalisation of a 6 month project to rework, rebuilt and completely transform the Demon Studios Horn, Tail and Spikes collection.
So whats what?
Demon Horns, Tails and Spikes in studio have been painstakingly reworked in part mesh to get around a technical problem regarding older Primitives. While doing this reworking, I have also improved on the designs cleaning up odd issues with the horns and making them smoother and more complete.
A new "Sleeve" (the metal ring covers on the horns) has been designed with the introduction of beautifully detailed gem encrusted sleeves with heavy detail work.
Materials Enhancement for the bone parts has been put in place, with 10 different Unlimited 3 Materials bumpiness options and 5 different levels of shine for metal and bone, with the option to remove materials if needed. Please note - you will need to be using Advanced Lighting Model to see Materials.
Unlimited 3 has been upgraded not only with the new Materials HUD, but a new "Tones" hud, featuring Two tone designs (shown above), and all the new Tartarus items now get special Tones versions. In addition, if you are new to Violet Studios, you can now Try before you buy. I have included for free with Unlimited the Slipstream horns, with both original and Tones format.
If you dont want to use materials that okay too. The Materials HUD also give the option to remove shine and bumpiness. In addition this first Materials HUD is just that - a first. If you want different options all you have to do is ask and I will be happy to investigate and possibly put in to production.
In total 44 heavily revised and upgraded products are now in store, and I have also again, reworked the demon studio putting the male department on the ground floor, and removing the upper floor all together. When it come to the new products you will also find they are now categorised - smallest to largest.
It should be worth noting, I have in this first batch released the Female Products. Male are still "old school" in store, however I will be doing the marketing for these ASAP and getting them out.
Here is a small selection of the revised 2016 Tartarus products look like...
I hope you like these as much as I do.

Fusion Male - Zerberus Demon Body & Razel Tartarus Hooves
Zerberus continues the Fusion male mesh release but with a more demonic twist offer that sought after heavy lower body design.
Featuring a unique Torso (also available from the pick n mix as a separate item), the body comes with the Gladiator Upper body and arms, and also includes male Universal basics (so if you wanted to go human using this body as a basics, all you would need is a Torso).
As with the human Fusion male spec, you get ADV applier and Omega Support built in.
The body is 1500L$, and the Pick n Mix Torso is 500L$ and its available in store now.
Not in the Mood for Heavy Demon Legs... something a little more reasonable in size?
Then you may want to look at the Razel Hooves. Designed on a similar line to the Female Hooves, you get all 5 primary body matched legs in the box, with clothing layers and all the usual Fusion features, except you dont get Stand alone legs with these.
They come in at 600L$ and are the perfect demonic companion to the Fusion Male Bodies.
Finally, I am pleased to say this finishes off the Phase 1 Fusion Male Release, however I can say that Phase 2 is already in the works and unlike Fusion female, the release will be arriving very soon.
Keep watching!

Demon Studio - Tartarus Vlade Horns
Part of the Tartarus Project is to reimagine Violet Studios Demon Selections.
Back in 2009, I created a core of horns that were a starting point for the original Violet Studios Line up. Today, I am pleased to bring you the second Reimagined set of Horns.
Vlade are based on the classic Razor Horns but with a total mesh make over.
You also get 2 styles - Vlade Light and Dark.
Vlade Light is a simple clean elegant set of horns with metal seaming and tips. Featuring full mesh you get smooth but detailed looks.
Vlade Dark harks back more to the original Razor design with metal plating on the front and triple chains on the back.
As always, these are fully compatible with Unlimited 3 giving hundreds of texture choices.
They are in store now at 300L$

Tartarus Hooves Additions Update
Don't panic - this update is optional.
With the release yesterday of the new Anime Torso for Fusion, it does mean that the Tartarus Hooves needed revising with additional Anime Ready legs.
Aerzor, Skizma, Necrosol and Zarnar hooves have all been updated with these new Anime ready hooves.
Simply wear your updater to get the latest versions.
There was a secondary customer request that came through though regarding Pant Bell Bottoms.
It seems that as customers you loved the idea of the seamless nature of the Tartarus Hooves, however you didn't like in some cases how the pants were skin tight.
So, an additional element in this latest update carries on from the main fusion body with lower leg bell bottoms - this extra object is simply worn if required.
Enjoy!
Note - body shown above is an example - Hair, horns, skin, body etc not included but shown as an example. Update only covers the Tartarus hooves themselves.

Omega Upgrades & Repairs to Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, Tartarus Hooves & Style Heels
Earlier this year, we released a massive 6 month upgrade
project to our Fusion Mesh bodies range encompassing hundreds of individual parts and
since then we have been slowly releasing new add on elements or new product
lines to the range.
A project on this scale though is going to have cock ups.
Sadly as much as we can beta test, check, reworking and look over things, eyes
will eventually glaze over, and things will slip through the net.
Since these massive upgrade took place, we have been
gathering feedback over what went right, and obviously what went wrong. In some
cases, we issued emergency repairs, however for the lesser issues we looked at
storing this for later repair.
About a six weeks back however while I was working through my
initial beta work on Materials for my skins, clothes etc, we found a massive
bug in Fusion. The bug meant the whole materials system was broken. As such
this was considered to be a “show stopper” bug and required immediate repair,
and a top to tail rebuild of every single Fusion & Scalez parts to repair the damage.
Opps.
I know however customers don’t like to get negatives
through when it comes to updates, and with a list of other minor repair work,
planned upgrades that never made it to Fusion last release, and a hand full of
customer ideas, this presented the perfect opportunity to move Fusion to its
Stable Release.
Important bit first.
Affected Product Lines: vString Revolutions, Wideloads,
Fusion Mesh Bodies and Pick n Mix, Realz Fusion Breasts, Scalez and Scalez
Demon, Tartarus Fusion Demon Hooves and Style Heels.
You will have already seen that the Revolutions were updated a few weeks back and if you have bought items, check the version numbers - if you have 1.2, then you need to update. If you have 1.5, then you have the current version.
If you have any of these products please, update them - it is free.
I know... you just got everything set up... why should I
upgrade?
Well, as I said. This upgrade is far more than just a bug
fixing session.
OMEGA Integration
One thing that has been on my plate right from the start
of the Fusion project has been the Omega Applier issue and the stream of
customers begging for us to integrate this.
Sadly while it seemed we were doing nothing, in fact we
have been working with omega to get this solved, and Fusion 1.5 now has Omega
Preinstalled.... Kind of.
The problem with Fusion is, unlike many other mesh bodies
out there, its modular, covering a massive number of products. Sadly due to
this, Omegas Business model and ours simply were not compatible. However they
did come up with a new option over the last few months that makes our business
models compatible.
On the Daily HUD for Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, Demon
hooves etc, you will find there is a new button
with an Omega Symbol on it. Out of the Box, you will see it is Red.
By going to Omega on the market place or in World, you
can buy their Omega Activator. What this does is quite simple. It will turn the
Red Omega Button to Green.
Once that button is green... that’s all you need to do.
You can now wear any Omega Advanced applier (yes, its Omega Materials Enabled), and Fusion will accept the clothing
textures or materials.
Because this is stored in the daily hud, it means you can
wear any combo of parts you want, and not have to do anything. Nice, simple and
easy.
vString Revolutions 4.6
This was covered in the previous update . See the Revolution 4.6 release however the Revolution Fusion chests with this are at 1.5
Realz minor weight painting bugs
The Realz were designed to be really “unaffected” breasts
– they are supposed to be small. To that end I did most of my testing on them
with the shape sliders set at 50 for breast size.
However this limited vision did mean I didn’t see some
minor weight painting issues that were causing issues when the sliders were
pushed up.
All errors on the Realz have now been fixed.
That Shoe Issue
I have since Fusions release been bombarded with
customers asking me if Shoes designed for other brands would work with Fusion.
The answer then was no.
With Fusion 1.5, you now get a “Feet for Shoes”
option.
All I will say is this. Try these out and you may find
they work quite well with certain shoes.
The Repair Work
Well... I have to cover this. Fusion and all related
products have been through an upgrade process script wise and have been
thoroughly tested. The major error here was Materials support which has now
been fixed in All Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, etc. Materials appliers previously
built are unaffected. Chest modules also have had an upgrade script wise to
deal with a minor issue that cropped up.
Fusion 1.5 Stable
The aim of this update is simply to take all the work
done on the last version, clean it up and stabilise it. To be honest if I do
say it, outside of the massive materials cockup, there were very few heavy bugs
in the last version, however now, we have Fusion to a point where we believe no
more repair work will be needed.
The second part of this really was to do tweeks to the
system to make it not only the most advanced mesh body system on the grid, but
also to make it the most compatible too.
Omega Integration now opens Fusion up to the mass market
with thousands of clothing and skins available for customers quickly and
easily. The new Feet for Shoes Option, adding to the Corset and Bootleg
options, also means you can now use Fusion in a far more flexible way when it
comes to mesh add ons.
Fusion itself is going to be developed more over time,
however right now, this should be the last major upgrade for some time, with only new
elements and parts being added to the range.

Demon Studio - Tartarus Belize Horns Released
Back in 2009 when I started Violet Studios, SL was such a different world. Sculpted prims were the height of technology and if you wanted clean objects design wise, you needed to use Primitives.
Still, from that point, I went forward and using the best I had available at the time designed many products that established Violet Studios as one of the best producers out there.
Its now 2015, and since those early days, Second Life has moved on.
Back in those early days I designed many sets of horns. Some of those horns have over time proven to be extremely popular with customers and one of the sets that have almost become legendary, are the original "Bub" horns.
The Tartarus Project is all about utilising Mesh to create the ultimate forms of Violet Studios products and one product I really wanted to revist, was Bub.
Taking the original basic design theory of Bub, Belize is the ultimate evolution.
As you can see from the sales boards, I havent held back, mixing in extremely high detail mesh, with innovative detailing. And you get two designs. A softer, more elegant design with chains and gems, and a harder, more aggressive larger style with spike and metal tipping
Both sets are included, and both sets come in at 300L$ - They are in the demon store now (see the right side for a direct teleport link).
Enjoy!
