Scalez Micro Macro BOM Update

It has been a very long time since I last looked at Scalez, so long in fact I had to be nudged to remember that I should do this update.

In short, the Scalez Bodies now have all had Baked On Mesh updates ready to wear out of the box so now you can easily swap between your system layers and create unique looks. As with Fusion, ADV and Omega Materials still work perfectly on the skin layer to add that little extra and the Omega Tattoo and Clothing layers also continue to operate as expected.

To get your update, just head to the Fusion main store, go to the Casper redelivery terminal and click it, following the usual routes to get your updates.

More soon!

Fusion Faun Hooves now available

I have had many people ask me for these over the years and I finally thought I would give these a go.

The Faun Hooves are actually very thin and almost stick like hooves. Even Skizma considering their size were quite well built. These are designed for slim to medium avatars.
You get a full compliment of Fusion compatibility as always, plus they are available as Stand Alone versions too for use with other mesh bodies / the stock SL avatar.

As with all Fusion Hooves, you get three layers (Skin / Clothing / Tattoo), Daily hud and Designer HUD's for the stand alone versions and free updates.

They are 600L$, and demos are available to try before you buy.

Enjoy!

Fusion Cloth and Tattoo Layer Together Glitch Fixed

It has been a thorn in my side ever since I released Fusion and all my fitted Mesh lines. That horrible bug where if you try to show the clothing and tattoo layers together, you get them in an all out fight with each other resulting in a patch work of badly rendering layers.
Good news!
Its now fixed!!

What you need to know: This affects Fusion Male, Fusion Female,  Tudoto, Fusion Demon hooves, Wideloads

What is the problem? From the first moment I deployed my fitted mesh line I have had a serious bug to deal with when it came to multiple clothing layers being shown at the same time. Some of you will have seen on the various huds the red Triangle with the ! in it next to the Show Tat and Cloth button.
This was there because of that bug. The bug itself came from two transparent layers (clothing and tattoo) trying to fight each other over which one was shown. The result was Fusion or any other body part using multiple clothing layers would have a funny half hour as it tried to render. You would see certain parts of the body showing one thing, and another part of the body showing the underwear over the top.
I know my customers have moaned about this a lot, and I didn't disagree but until today I had not figured out how some people on the grid were getting around this glitch.

The Solution! I had a customer come on this morning asking me about this bug and I decided to take a look at it with fresh eyes again. However I stumbled by accident on to the solution and as usual with Linden Lab, it was in the last place you would expect. Materials. I don’t know why it does this and I have asked some people with knowledge on the subject and they don’t know why either, but if materials are fitted to the clothing layer, it remains dominant. The Glitch is cured.

What's in the Update? In the box you will find an updated version of the Daily HUDs. On these huds are two new button. Fix Clothing layer and Remove Tattoo Layer Materials. These are here so you can fix any clothing item you put on quickly and easily.

There are caveats though. Firstly if the clothing item you have already comes with materials, then you don’t need to fix the cloth layer as it will wipe out the shine on them. Secondly if the underwear layer did come with materials you will have to lose it. However this is the solution that has eluded me for so long.
Don't worry about looking like you just jumped in a bucket of baby oil though. The Shine that this button applies is effectively set to nothing. There is no materials visible on the clothing layer.

Wear your updater to get the revised copy of the Daily HUD's. You wont have to change anything with your body - simply replace the old daily hud with the new one.

Wear your updaters or visit the redelivery terminals in store to get you updates!
The Result? You can now wear both clothing and Tattoo Layers together and they will not glitch.

Fusion Female - Femboi Upper Body

This is perhaps one of the stranger ones I have done on behalf of customers but one I hope they will appreciate. This is the new Fusion Femboi upper body.

Unlike previously, the Femboi Upper body is not based on Fusion Female's master template, but actually on Fusion Male. It features a well designed and well defined male upper body and arms, it includes the chest section too. Also included are mesh nipples and Male style pericings.

There are some limitations though. Firstly the breast sliders have been disabled on this model. Female and male sliders differ in their behaviour. Secondly there are no show hide zones due to the fact this is definately not a female chest and most likely wouldnt behave itself.

Just so we are clear though - this is a Fusion Female body part. Not Male. What this means is you can mix and match this to any of the female bodies.

Enjoy!

Tudoto 1.01 Release (Fusion Ultima Integration)

As always I love to listen to customer feedback and at this time I have been working through some updates to Tudoto. The 1.01 release comes with minor fixes throughout the body however most significantly, Tudoto now comes, as you can see above, with a Fusion Ultima ready Torso as a new bonus item.
Customer had given me feedback that they would love to use Fusion Ultima upper bodies and breast with Tudoto and who am I to argue.

This is a free update so if you own Tudoto, go grab a copy!

Scalez Mesh Bodies Update & Omega Bridge Update

Following on from the Release of the ADV2 Skin Series is the update to Scalez which will allow you to use ADV2 Make up appliers on the Scalez Macro / Micro Bodies.
Simply wear your updater to get the latest product.

Please note... Hippo Redelivery Terminals in world are now sadly broken. Hippo has been informed about this over a month ago, and they have done nothing. I will be moving over to Casper Vend shortly.

In the same vein as the Scalez Update was a minor "whoops" moment. When I released ADV2, I should have sent out an Update to the ADV to Omega Bridge too to cover the new make up appliers.
In the midst of the chaos though... I forgot.
Version 1.2 of the Omega Bridge is available in most stores now and is as always free.

Fusion Male Release

Let me give you the low down.
Build on the Fusion modular concept so upper and lower bodies can be interchanged.
ADV and Omega Applier Ready
Uses Standard Second Life UV Mapping (same as the stock avatar)
Avatar Head - Like the female bodies, Male uses the standard Avatars head so you dont have to look the same as everyone else...
Clothing and Tattoo Layers, separate mesh nipples and piercings (29 piercing options to choose from) with many of the Fusion female features.
Developers kit included and ADV and Omega Materials support ready.
Fitted Mesh which means to a degree you can use most of the shape sliders to adjust your body design.

5 Body styles - Genesis which is closest to the SL avatar), Skinny which is thinner than the stock av, Athletic which give some extra bulk, Gladiator for quite a bit more bulk, and finally Barbarian, which is self explanatory (see below)

Demo's are available in the main Fusion store.

Oh, and you also get everything in Pick N Mix format too so if you want to add extra elements, you don't have to buy the whole body.

And as usual, this is Release Part one. I ran out of time today so I decided to just get the primary bodies out, and the look at the other items developed for this tomorrow so expect a second release.

Fusion Anthro Legs

The idea of Fusion is all about being modular, and one thing asked over and over again is "can you do some Anthro leg options?"

Well, you get asked enough times, what else can you do.

The first of these new products are the more tradition style paw style feet.
Designed in highly detailed mesh, these have a four toe design, SL UV mapping, Bell Bottoms for the clothing layers, Feet pads and claws with a U3 HUD for texture tint options.
The come for Genesis, Athletic, Model, Andro, All Woman, Skinny and Anime on the main Fusion body torsos (other models were simply not possible due to size differences), and you get Wideloads versions for Classic, Slender and Curves.

There are no Stand Alone or unrigged versions.
This is my first step in to a world thats rather alien to me, and while I think I have covered all the bases, if there are any specific options you want to see, or other models you think would be a great idea, drop me a note card.
These are in the Fusion Store now (above the Demon Fusion selection) and both sets come in at 600L$ each.

Enjoy

Fusion Pick n Mix - Anime Torso Released

Some time back I took a step back from the original design theories behind Fusion and tried to look at it from a different angle.
So far, Fusion has been designed to be a quite realistic style, even when it came to the wide loads, however I started experimenting with a more anime style of body. The result is a quite odd Torso called ... well Anime.

Anime is Slender, but Curvey, and is the first Torso we have done to feature the "split leg" design which has also allowed the creation of a more realistic crotch and camel toe.

As with all Primary Fusion Torsos you get The Torso and Legs. And then you also get Torso For Corset, Torso for Boot Legs, and of course, Torso for Corset and Boot legs. Plus you get the Clothing layer bell bottoms too.

Demos are available in store, and this is coming in at 500L$

Please Note - The picture above shows the Anime Torso, match to Fusion Universal Basics, Fusion Skinny arms, Revolution Petite Melons, Headmaster hair, Beholder eye and features the Verotic Ava 04 skin and Verotic Wrapper Bikini..... all of which are not included.

Omega Upgrades & Repairs to Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, Tartarus Hooves & Style Heels

Earlier this year, we released a massive 6 month upgrade project to our Fusion Mesh bodies range encompassing hundreds of individual parts and since then we have been slowly releasing new add on elements or new product lines to the range.
A project on this scale though is going to have cock ups. Sadly as much as we can beta test, check, reworking and look over things, eyes will eventually glaze over, and things will slip through the net.

Since these massive upgrade took place, we have been gathering feedback over what went right, and obviously what went wrong. In some cases, we issued emergency repairs, however for the lesser issues we looked at storing this for later repair.

About a six weeks back however while I was working through my initial beta work on Materials for my skins, clothes etc, we found a massive bug in Fusion. The bug meant the whole materials system was broken. As such this was considered to be a “show stopper” bug and required immediate repair, and a top to tail rebuild of every single Fusion & Scalez parts to repair the damage.
Opps.

I know however customers don’t like to get negatives through when it comes to updates, and with a list of other minor repair work, planned upgrades that never made it to Fusion last release, and a hand full of customer ideas, this presented the perfect opportunity to move Fusion to its Stable Release.

Important bit first.
Affected Product Lines: vString Revolutions, Wideloads, Fusion Mesh Bodies and Pick n Mix, Realz Fusion Breasts, Scalez and Scalez Demon, Tartarus Fusion Demon Hooves and Style Heels.
You will have already seen that the Revolutions were updated a few weeks back and if you have bought items, check the version numbers - if you have 1.2, then you need to update. If you have 1.5, then you have the current version.

If you have any of these products please, update them - it is free.

I know... you just got everything set up... why should I upgrade?
Well, as I said. This upgrade is far more than just a bug fixing session.

OMEGA Integration
One thing that has been on my plate right from the start of the Fusion project has been the Omega Applier issue and the stream of customers begging for us to integrate this.
Sadly while it seemed we were doing nothing, in fact we have been working with omega to get this solved, and Fusion 1.5 now has Omega Preinstalled.... Kind of.
The problem with Fusion is, unlike many other mesh bodies out there, its modular, covering a massive number of products. Sadly due to this, Omegas Business model and ours simply were not compatible. However they did come up with a new option over the last few months that makes our business models compatible.
On the Daily HUD for Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, Demon hooves etc, you will find there is a new button with an Omega Symbol on it. Out of the Box, you will see it is Red.
By going to Omega on the market place or in World, you can buy their Omega Activator. What this does is quite simple. It will turn the Red Omega Button to Green.
Once that button is green... that’s all you need to do. You can now wear any Omega Advanced applier (yes, its Omega Materials Enabled), and Fusion will accept the clothing textures or materials.
Because this is stored in the daily hud, it means you can wear any combo of parts you want, and not have to do anything. Nice, simple and easy.

 vString Revolutions 4.6
This was covered in the previous update . See the Revolution 4.6 release however the Revolution Fusion chests with this are at 1.5

Realz minor weight painting bugs
The Realz were designed to be really “unaffected” breasts – they are supposed to be small. To that end I did most of my testing on them with the shape sliders set at 50 for breast size.
However this limited vision did mean I didn’t see some minor weight painting issues that were causing issues when the sliders were pushed up.
All errors on the Realz have now been fixed.

That Shoe Issue
I have since Fusions release been bombarded with customers asking me if Shoes designed for other brands would work with Fusion. The answer then was no.
With Fusion 1.5, you now get a “Feet for Shoes” option.
All I will say is this. Try these out and you may find they work quite well with certain shoes.

The Repair Work
Well... I have to cover this. Fusion and all related products have been through an upgrade process script wise and have been thoroughly tested. The major error here was Materials support which has now been fixed in All Fusion, Scalez, Wideloads, etc. Materials appliers previously built are unaffected. Chest modules also have had an upgrade script wise to deal with a minor issue that cropped up.

Fusion 1.5 Stable
The aim of this update is simply to take all the work done on the last version, clean it up and stabilise it. To be honest if I do say it, outside of the massive materials cockup, there were very few heavy bugs in the last version, however now, we have Fusion to a point where we believe no more repair work will be needed.
The second part of this really was to do tweeks to the system to make it not only the most advanced mesh body system on the grid, but also to make it the most compatible too.
Omega Integration now opens Fusion up to the mass market with thousands of clothing and skins available for customers quickly and easily. The new Feet for Shoes Option, adding to the Corset and Bootleg options, also means you can now use Fusion in a far more flexible way when it comes to mesh add ons.
Fusion itself is going to be developed more over time, however right now, this should be the last major upgrade for some time, with only new elements and parts being added to the range.

Thanks for reading

Scalez - Micro Macro Mesh Body system

After my last post I have been looking at getting things I have had brewing for a long time finished - something that isnt so taxing on me and gives me time to rest.

I could waffle on for hours about the background to Scalez, but lets get down to the nitty gritty.

Take 4 of the Fusion body styles - Supermodel, Athletic, Skinny and Amazon.
Retroengineer them back to Rigged Mesh and then make various sizes.
6 Inches, 1 Foot, 2 Feet, 3 Feet, 10 Feet, 16 Feet and 30 Feet.
Give them a choice of three different face designs, clothing and tattoo layers.
Make them Fusion / ADV compatible on the applier side and Materials support and give them many of Fusions HUD features.

The Result is Scalez - High Quality Rigged Mesh Micro Mesh bodies.
You get 4 packs including all the size based on the bodies - Supermodel, Skinny, Athletic and Amazon. Each body is priced at 1000L$.
You can find them in the Fusion Store.

Redelivery Terminal for vString, Fusion and Wideloads

Over the last few days I have been getting a number of customers coming to me saying that their updaters have not been working.
Last night we researched what was going on, as I knew for a fact that the delivery system is working correctly and the result for me at least - it was working perfectly.
However further tests threw out some weird results.

It seems, for unknown reason there may be some issues on the Second Life Grid where Customer A asks for an update by wearing their updater, and gets the update. But, Customer B asks for the same update, and gets nothing.
After 2 hours of testing, retesting, checking etc, neither myself or Juggz could make head nor tail of this issue.
This issues does seem confined to vString Revolutions for some reason - again no idea why.

This morning, I did something perhaps I should have done ages ago - I installed Redelivery terminals in both the vString and Fusion stores.
These terminals are there so if you as a customer have bought a product in the past, and either lost the updater, or have the updater and it seems to be acting up, you now can simply got to the terminal, click it and get the latest versions of our vString, Fusion or Wideloads products.

I hope this helps customers and I do apologise for the issues surrounding

Fusion Phase 2, vString Revolution 4.5, Wideloads 1.3 Update

Back in September last year, I released our Fusion Mesh body system on to the grid and it has gone down extremely well with customers.
Since then, we have been listening to our customers as well as integrating in our own ideas, and now six months on, I am please to announce the release of Fusion Phase 2.
This new release has hundreds of improvements throughout the bodies.
Highlights though include extended nail packs, Boot Leg models for 3rd party boots , Corset Torsos for use with 3rd Party Torso, improved hand and feet models, Materials integration, crotch bulges and camel toes, and so much more.
It is probably best to see in store for more details.

As always this update is free to existing customers, so wear your updater to get this update.

But it doesn't stop there.

As the vString Revolutions are now an integral part of Fusion, I am pleased to announce the release of Version 4.5 of the Revolutions.
Again, there is quite a long list of improvements, however highlights include the new multiple nipple system offering 4 styles and sizes of nipples and our new Advanced Piercing system with 44 choices on board.
Again, these updates are also carried through in to the Fusion Revolutions giving you far more choice in the design of your Fusion Avatar.

For Wideloads 1.3, the original core of Wideloads has not been updated for the simple fact most of the updates would simply not be possible.
However when it comes to Fusion, you now get Knee Boot Leg models for use with knee length boots, you get the requests "Belly" option giving you a little more to jiggle with, and for those the Fusion Corset Torsos have also been integrated in.

For Both Revolutions and Wideloads, again, wear your updater to get the latest versions and more information is available in store regarding the full breakdown of features and improvements.

Finally, due to the materials update, the Style heels also have been updated. This is optional depending on if you want to use Materials appliers though.

This is just the first part of the Phase 2 Fusion release though. From this point, we have quite a few new products waiting and ready to go out, so stay tuned as these will be arriving over the next week.

Fusion Modular Fitted Mesh Body System released

For many months now, its not exactly been a secret that Violet Studios have been working on a Mesh body. In fact, the development process has been going for near enough 6 months.

Finally though, the rumours become reality with the release of Fusion - perhaps the most advanced body system ever seen on SL.

The name Fusion wasn’t an accident. It sums up what the Fusion Mesh system is all about.
Utilising well thought out design theories, innovative creation methods, Fusion is capable of virtually unlimited combination, giving users thousands of body configuration options, all in a neat, easy to use package.

Mesh bodies have often been beautifully built, but highly inflexible items. By comparison, the stock avatar can offer far more flexibility but is more lacking due to the fact you are attaching parts that will never be truly seamless.

This is where Fusion is very different.

Fusion is a modular body. What this means is, its built in different pieces. So, if you buy the Fusion Genesis full body, in the Folder you will find there are separate objects for the Arms, Chest, Nipples, Finger Nails, Torso, Legs and Feet. By wearing all of these items together, you assemble the body in its pieces to form a seamless whole.

However, because Fusion is constructed in this way, it means you can swap out pieces of the body and replace them with completely new pieces. As an example, you already own the Wideloads Classic’s Butts, and the vString Revolution Petites.
All you need to do is grab the latest update to these and you will find a new Fusion Box in each of them which you should unpack. Inside the Revolution Petite box, you will find there are now Fusion Chest modules and Fusion Nipples for each of the Petite models. Inside the Wideloads you will find there are Fusion Torso and legs for each of the Classic Models.

Wearing the Genesis body, and wearing as an example, the Fusion Petite “Melon” breasts and nipples, and the Wideload Classic Fusion Hourglass Torso and Legs, you have now got a full body with the elements from both the Revolutions and Wideloads.

However, this is the important bit. These elements are seamless.
There is no seam joints where the breasts meet the body, and no line where the butt meets the waist. Whats more, these work with the majority of Windlight settings so you can be assured that for almost all Windlight settings, you and the people viewing you, will not see any ugly or unsightly lines.

Its clear when you look at whats available on the market today, Fusion is (as you would expect from the Innovators at Violet Studios) a completely new and intelligent quantum leap forward in mesh bodies

But I think I should stop the marketing  pitch here. Needless to say, the full information is available in store. I could go on for hours about the huge features list Fusion offers customers.
There are demos in store.
You can choose from:
Genesis - this is a classic SL style avatar body that will work with many designers mesh attachment
Supermodel - a slender but sexy style femme
Athletic - realistic more muscular and toned
Amazon - rather over the top for me, but atypically, very feminine
Ruben - a plumper more rounded body
Andro - a less feminine style body, but surprisingly sexy.

All of these bodies come in at 1500L$

There is also our Special edition mutli stage pregnancy body with 7 different stages and unique breast designs which is coming in at 2000L$

All of these work with vString Revolution Fusions and Wideloads if you so choose.

Check Fusion out by heading to the Polymorph store (its inbetween the VSX and vString Stores on Pheadra)

vString Revolution Helium & 4.2 Release, Wideload 1.2 Update, and Style Heels V4 update

vString Revolution Helium and 4.2 Release

I am proud to announce the arrival of the new vString Revolution Helium Model as well as the awaited release of the Version 4.2 Update to the Revolutions overall.

As this is Adult, full details can be found here.

Wideloads 1.2 Update

Continuing our ongoing commitment to bringing you the very best products on the market I am please to announce the release of  Wideloads V1.2.

For 1.2 we have extensively looked at the way the textures seat so they are as smooth and realistic as they can be. In addition we have also included a new “Pants Flare” extra piece.
The most important update is the release of a Fusion Ready Lower Body for each of the Wideloads, so now you can, using the Fusion Mesh bodies, have a seamless lower body with no windlight issues.

If you choose to buy a Fusion Body, all you need to do is wear the relevant Wideloads Fusion Torso and Legs modules and the body is now wearing seamless and windlight independent Wideloads!
See the Polymorph Studio for more details on Fusion & how it works.

Style Heels Version 4 Update
With the Release of Fusion, we have now released an updated model for All style heels that combines the best of the original design with all the advanced skin and clothing options found on Fusion.
If you are thinking of a Fusion Mesh Body, then grab the update.

ADV Version 1.01 Release – Wowmeh, Ghetto Booty & Manoua’s Muscles

In March 2014 after an eyewatering amount of time in development, I proudly released the ADV Applier system on to the grid.
ADV, our ADVanced Mesh Applier system, is a massive technical innovation designed to give customers fast simple access to Violet Studios Skins and Clothing by simply cutting out the need for thousands of separated appliers, and rather building scripts to control various products.

At the time of launch, I am not sure if customers really understood what ADV was about, but a few did come forward and asked if I would look at some products. And now, I can show those customers who have bought an ADV Skin or Clothing item what this system really can do with the first major update to ADV.

At the launch, ADV only really had one script install product, specifically for Phat Azz.
Now, I do have to apologise to customers here, but if you have installed the Phat Azz script previously, you will find there is a V1.1 script in the update. This has been done to take advantage of both clothing layers, so I would recommend that you remove the original script and replace it with the new 1.1 script.

Joining the Phat Azz scripts you will find three new products joining the line up.
We have produced a script to fit in to the uLukie Ghetto Booty.
Also, you will find we have produced another pair of scripts for the Manoua’s Muscle Body Range.
Finally, the much mentioned Wowmeh Fitted Mesh bodies have now got the ADV scripting too.

So, with Version 1.01, you have skin and clothing ADV options for  Polymorph (at the moment just the Wideloads), Phat Azz, Sking Brazillia, Ghetto Booty, Manoua’s Muscle Bodies, and the Wowmeh Body.

As always, ADV is an interactive process between Violet Studios and our customers.
As long as a item you have uses the SL Body textures, its Mod, and its set up in a predictable way, we can most likely convert that product to work with ADV, and then open up new options not just for you, but for other customers as well, and very quickly too.

Send a note to Hemi Violet, and I will arrange to meet up and take a look and see how I can help.

So... finally.
Where do you get the Update?

The 1.1 Update is free so don’t worry about that.
I have put out the update in several spots around the Violet Studios main stores.

You can find it in
The Customer Service centre (that’s in the middle of the lake)
Verotic Skins Main Store (teleport Landing area – its behind the Desk)
Demon Studio – Whats new Area (look on the boards by the stairs)
LTX Store – in the Teleport landing area
Verotic Clothing – its at the landing area and dotted around the store too.

Enjoy the Update!
Hemi

**** ADDENDUM****

Seems like inbetween our initial research and development in to Manoua's Muscles, there has been an update released which has changed the design.
We have just done a minor fix on the original scripts which deal with Pre Version 1.6 models of Manoua's Muscle Bodies, and we have create a whole new line up of Version 1.6 scripts which now give you access to the lastest body.
If you have already got copies of the script and dont have the 1.6 versions, pop back to store and grab the updated box.
Sorry about that
