vString Essentials and Revo BOM updates

 No matter what you do, you end up breaking something. With the Revolutions update released on Wednesday, I thought I had hammered everything down only to find out there was another texturing glitch. Having spent most of yesterday tracking things back I re-released the 5.11 Version this afternoon.

Touching wood... these should now be stable and fully operational.

Now... second part of the release today was what this post should be about.

vString XL, XXL, X_X and X-Loons have been updated to Version 5.1. The materials glitch that occasionally happened has now been repaired and is working correctly on the Omega Versions.

However you now get Baked on Mesh versions too.

It almost seems weird to think this, but Violet Studios first released vStrings back in 2011... that is now a decade ago and I have constantly strived to keep them fully up to date with all the latest. Back then I started with sculpts, then moved to mesh, then broke ground with the first fitted mesh versions on the grid with physics in the Revos, then materials and now today we have the Baked on Mesh versions.

Thanks for being with us for the last decade on this project and as always, as it has been for 10 years, the updates are free.

vString Revolution 5.1 Update

 Just a quick update. A number of intermitted bugs were found in the coding for the Omega and BOM releases of the Revolutions. These issues have now been addressed.

vString Revolution Baked On Mesh

 Quick update here. This has been a really bizarre and bad year for everyone I think and sadly I am not much different in that respect. Looking forward to saying goodbye to 2020, however it is about time I started working on things again.

vStrings have long been overdue for some update work and the first out of the blocks is the Revolutions. Bringing these up to date with the latest Baked on Mesh design work, they are available to update right now.

Just head in store, go to the Casper Vend Redelivery terminal and update yours now.

vString X_X, XL, XXL & X-Loon Update

Letting customers know after some investigation work and head scratching we found these breasts had an issue.
The nature of this bug was the breasts clothing layer / tops were doing strange things inlduing turning grey. The bug has now been tracked down and repaired.
To that end, the X_X, XL, XXL and X-Loons have now been updated to version 5.01

vString X-Fet Version 5 now out!

Hold on... I just released the Version 4.5 X-Fets didn't I?

Well, considering everything that has been going on, I wasn't going to leave them out of the equation.
You get the Omega Advanced / ADV update which works on both the Skin and the UV Top including materials support so now setting your breasts is a breeze!
Also, I have spent some time reworking the skin mapping and now it is far superior to how it was before.

As with the current updater situation, it is best to pop in store and use the redelivery service.

vString XL and XXL Version 5 Released

I think you will be getting the theme here by this point.
The XL and XXL vStrings have been released with Omega Advaned and ADV support.

Visit in store to get the latest updates.
Unfortunately I have been made aware that due to reasons beyond my control, the update system is currently out of action. I am investigating this and I should have a solution soon.

vString X-Loon Version 5 Released

The vString Version 5 update continues with the release of the X-Loons.
You still get all the features you love, but things have changed. As with the other models that have been updated, you now get full Omega Advanced and ADV Support for the skin, clothing and Underwear layers. That goes for textures and materials!
What this effectively means is setting up your breasts should now be a breeze.

As you can see from the picture above this update suits them.

vString Revolutions Beyond Breasts Released

It seems the Beyond Breasts are popular with my customers to degree I have been asked to convert them over to vString Revolution specs. I'm not one to argue and the result is (to the best of my knowledge) the largest Fitted Mesh breasts available on SL. Beyond really do take things to the extreme and these really do go beyond all acceptable norms.

You get full fitted mesh with Clothing, Underwear and Skin layers all Omega Advanced and ADV ready. You also get Pasties and a Classic Tanktop you can use with older applier - a nod to the past in a way.

They come with Large, Fat and Mega nipples versions and include three models - Mega, Giga and OTT. There is also the standard vString piercing system too.

They are in store at 1000L$ which includes the Beyond Fusion Versions

vString Revolution Orbz Breasts Released

Following on from the Revolution Version 5 Release, I am very pleased to announce the first new set of vString Revolutions for some time.
Orbz will be familiar to many as they were originally designed for Fusion Ultima however I have had a lot of customers asking for stand alone versions and who am I to deny that request.

You get full fitted mesh with Clothing, Underwear and Skin layers all Omega Advanced and ADV ready. You also get Pasties and a Classic Tanktop you can use with older applier - a nod to the past in a way.

They come with Large, Fat and Mega nipples versions and include three models - Tight, Overfilled and Hyper. There is also the standard vString piercing system too.

They are in store at 1000L$ which includes the Orbz Fusion Versions....
Talking of which....

Yes, with this release it does mean I have also updated Fusion Ultima Orbz with the additional nipples. You just need to wear your updater to get them or visit in store and see the redelivery terminal.

I also realise that some customers may want to upgrade to the full Revolution version. If you do, drop me a notecard inworld and I will be happy to do those upgrades for you for 500L$.

Fusion Ultima - vString Fusion Breasts Update

Back when Fusion Ultima was released, I said that I would get the original 1.5 nipple options converted, however with things like this, time is always a factor.

I am pleased to say though that I have updated the vString Fusion Petites, Naturals, Saline, Silicone, Helium and Stars with multiple nipple options.
You get the Original Flat Style nipple, the Large nipple, the Fat Nipple, and the Mega Nipple (Mega not available on Petites and Naturals)

This is a free update, so simply wear your updater or visit in store for the redelivery terminal.

On a side note, it has been noted that the Silicone Jiggler breasts had issues over their UV Mapping. I have tried repeatedly to fix this issues without success however after getting rather aggressive with them, they are now completely reworked and perfectly symmetrical once more.

vString X-Fet Minor Updated

Just a quick update on the X-Fets .
We came across a bug in the Omega application script on this model where some of the breasts states were not applying their textures correctly.
This has now been repaired and only affected the Evo / Omega version.



Simply wear your updater to get this repaired version or visit the redelivery terminal in store.

vString Revolutions 4.6 Update

It is fair to say that you can't get everything spot on first time.
When it came to the Fusion Phase 2 project, and considering the unreal scope and scale of the project, there were going to be a few thing that slipped through the cracks.

We have over the last 3 months, been looking at Fusion, Wideload and Revolutions, listening to customer feedback and getting bugs, errors, and oddities sorted out slowly, however about a month ago, we came across a show stopper bug on Fusion that needed fixing so we started to collate all of the information on these things we gathered and started to work through them.

The First part of this release is the 4.6 Revolution update.

The Revolutions have been breathed on with this upgrade going up a notch in the process.

Firstly there were a number of bugs in the stand alone Revolutions. These ranged from minor top issues, nipple poke throughs etc, to menu errors. These have all been repaired.

Secondly as you will have seen on the Essentials, we integrated in Second Life Materials support. The Revolutions now have Materials support too with the Materials appliers.

Another customer request following the release of the new X-Loon vString Specials, was over the Mega Nipple. I have resisted this for a long time, as I like more realistic nipples, however... you win.

Saline, Silicone, Helium and Stars now have a new Mega Nipple Option.

Revolution / Fusion Advanced Piercings

This is a minor upgrade but still a rather cool one that came from a customer request.

On the Advanced Piercing, you got to choose from 44 options that affected both piercings.

On this upgrade you still get the 44 choices, but you now have independent left and right sides, allowing you to fit one style of piercing to the left, and another to the right. In addition you can now preset a hide on the left or right too meaning you can wear just one piercing if you fancy.

 Fusion Revolutions 1.5

As part of this project we have been working through all Fusion parts. It does make logicial sense that we have included the Fusion Revolutions updates with this box. You now get the 1.5 Stable Release of the Fusion Revolutions breasts with that, along with the nipple and smart piercing upgrades.

This update is semi optional but it is recommended, especially if you are going to be using Materials support.

As always, this upgrade is free. Simply wear your updater, or pop in to the vString main store and get your updates from the Redelivery Terminals.

More news on the Fusion 1.5 update will be coming over the next week or two as we finalise some exciting new features.

vString Essentials Version 4.5 Update (X_X, XL and XXL)

Two years ago, I was very proud to release our Version 3 vString X_X, XL and XXL models.
It is fair to say these models rewrote the rule book at the time over Implant design in Second Life.

Since then we have been looking at the products, listening to customers and slowly but surely working towards the release of our Version 4 models, and that day, is today.

The specifications list for this revision is huge really, but they are simply hundreds of small improvements that come together to make a massive differences.
Highlights include: XL & XXL ground up redevelopment (total rebuild and refinement from scratch), Improved Smart Nipples and options, Advanced Piercing system (with 44 options), Dynamic Milk system (self scaling milk particle sizes depending on breast size) and texture, colour and glow control for milk, Improved scripting system, MCI applier compatibility, Evo Classic breasts (original vString design (not evo) with Evo texture mapping), Reduced mesh costs, SL Materials (Specular and Normals Mapping) Appliers and compatibility, Lite or Full models (cutting out heavier mesh items on the lite for a more streamline experience) and... well, the list goes on.

As always - you bought them, you get the updates for free - simply wear your updater, or pop in store and grab the updates from our redelivery terminal.

Redelivery Terminal for vString, Fusion and Wideloads

Over the last few days I have been getting a number of customers coming to me saying that their updaters have not been working.
Last night we researched what was going on, as I knew for a fact that the delivery system is working correctly and the result for me at least - it was working perfectly.
However further tests threw out some weird results.

It seems, for unknown reason there may be some issues on the Second Life Grid where Customer A asks for an update by wearing their updater, and gets the update. But, Customer B asks for the same update, and gets nothing.
 After 2 hours of testing, retesting, checking etc, neither myself or Juggz could make head nor tail of this issue.
This issues does seem confined to vString Revolutions for some reason - again no idea why.

This morning, I did something perhaps I should have done ages ago - I installed Redelivery terminals in both the vString and Fusion stores.
These terminals are there so if you as a customer have bought a product in the past, and either lost the updater, or have the updater and it seems to be acting up, you now can simply got to the terminal, click it and get the latest versions of our vString, Fusion or Wideloads products.

Fusion Modular Fitted Mesh Body System released

For many months now, its not exactly been a secret that Violet Studios have been working on a Mesh body. In fact, the development process has been going for near enough 6 months.

Finally though, the rumours become reality with the release of Fusion - perhaps the most advanced body system ever seen on SL.

The name Fusion wasn’t an accident. It sums up what the Fusion Mesh system is all about.
Utilising well thought out design theories, innovative creation methods, Fusion is capable of virtually unlimited combination, giving users thousands of body configuration options, all in a neat, easy to use package.

Mesh bodies have often been beautifully built, but highly inflexible items. By comparison, the stock avatar can offer far more flexibility but is more lacking due to the fact you are attaching parts that will never be truly seamless.

This is where Fusion is very different.

Fusion is a modular body. What this means is, its built in different pieces. So, if you buy the Fusion Genesis full body, in the Folder you will find there are separate objects for the Arms, Chest, Nipples, Finger Nails, Torso, Legs and Feet. By wearing all of these items together, you assemble the body in its pieces to form a seamless whole.

However, because Fusion is constructed in this way, it means you can swap out pieces of the body and replace them with completely new pieces. As an example, you already own the Wideloads Classic’s Butts, and the vString Revolution Petites.
All you need to do is grab the latest update to these and you will find a new Fusion Box in each of them which you should unpack. Inside the Revolution Petite box, you will find there are now Fusion Chest modules and Fusion Nipples for each of the Petite models. Inside the Wideloads you will find there are Fusion Torso and legs for each of the Classic Models.

Wearing the Genesis body, and wearing as an example, the Fusion Petite “Melon” breasts and nipples, and the Wideload Classic Fusion Hourglass Torso and Legs, you have now got a full body with the elements from both the Revolutions and Wideloads.

However, this is the important bit. These elements are seamless.
There is no seam joints where the breasts meet the body, and no line where the butt meets the waist. Whats more, these work with the majority of Windlight settings so you can be assured that for almost all Windlight settings, you and the people viewing you, will not see any ugly or unsightly lines.

Its clear when you look at whats available on the market today, Fusion is (as you would expect from the Innovators at Violet Studios) a completely new and intelligent quantum leap forward in mesh bodies

But I think I should stop the marketing  pitch here. Needless to say, the full information is available in store. I could go on for hours about the huge features list Fusion offers customers.

Wideloads 1.2 Update

Continuing our ongoing commitment to bringing you the very best products on the market I am please to announce the release of  Wideloads V1.2.

For 1.2 we have extensively looked at the way the textures seat so they are as smooth and realistic as they can be. In addition we have also included a new “Pants Flare” extra piece.
The most important update is the release of a Fusion Ready Lower Body for each of the Wideloads, so now you can, using the Fusion Mesh bodies, have a seamless lower body with no windlight issues.

If you choose to buy a Fusion Body, all you need to do is wear the relevant Wideloads Fusion Torso and Legs modules and the body is now wearing seamless and windlight independent Wideloads!

Although I cant give the full details here as this is the PG blog, I can say the Version 4 Revolutions are now available with a large list of improvements, repairs and new features.

If you own either the Naturals or the Silicones, simply wear the update that came with your breasts to get the Version 4's.

Verotic ADV - The New Skins Generation

I will go in to details of this release, but first I think its best to give you the highlights.

Verotic ADV is everything you have come to expect from us, with the detailing and quality of our skins.

Whats new on Verotic ADV?
Each skin now has 30 make ups, many of them all new.
Gia, Ava and Ori all have our new 2014 Face designs.
We are proud to introduce the new Dyta 07 and 08 Skins.
There are now Extras model skins available which can transform your look (see below).
Finally, the long awaited  and extremely smart "Mesh Applier System" has arrived which is designed to apply the body textures to mesh items. At the moment we support Phat Azz, Sking "Butts"  and Violet Studios Polymorph products (due for launch in April May). More product support will be added over time and possibly sooner than you can imagine.

Best thing to do is take a look in store - in total there are over 1200 new skin products available.

I do know that customers who have bought skins in the past would like to get the update to the mesh applier system too. Sadly I cant do this as a free update however there are now full skin boards in store covering ALL Verotic Skins from the past 4 years (Ava, Ori, Gia and the classic Celeste Skin, in all format).
They do cost 300L$ each but will give you the capability to utilise mesh products without having to update. They are located at the far end of the store on the upper level (almost directly above the teleport rez in area).

Since 2009, Violet Studios have been creating Innovative and delicious skins, constantly bringing new features and styles, often breaking new ground over what skins are capable of. For example, in 2009 we were the first company on the grid to offer support to multiple models of breasts implants and in 2010 we were the first to offer a full multi make up complete “realistic” muscle skin.

ADV is our Advanced Series skins system. With over two years of preparation and over 8 months of assembly work, we are very proud to release this innovation in skins.

2014 Faces & Make Ups

One of the largest changes to the skins themselves is the reworking of our faces. Painstakingly  tested to give a lush and beautifully toned face, Ava Gia and Ori all feature unique and delightful face designs which are all new.

On the Make Up side, we have pushed the boat out. With a standard choice of 30 make ups now, you get the old familiar styles but with an all new, highly polished look. For those feeling nostalgic though, the new “Retro” pack features your favourites from the classic 2012 make up line.

ADV Skins

As with all previous Verotic Skins you get our usual selection of features skins wise taking up to 8 different styles either as full skins over tattoo layer overlays. See the skin board for the exact styles.

You also get our full skin or Tattoo Layer “Blanker” skin system, which is designed for use with Tattoo Layer make up such as our own Evolution Make ups. These Blankers are available with or without Eyebrows, and include multiple styles of Tattoo Layer eyebrows which are also tintable.

ADV Extras Skins 

These new skins are designed as Extras that can either be used stand alone with the addition of tattoo layer make up, or if you own a full like for like skins (prebuilt with make ups) you can use the Tattoo layer bodies to overlay those. In addition, for Ava, Gia and Ori, you can use these new bodies with older skins.

In addition, Extras skins do give up the ability to quickly build and deploy who new ranges of skins, so if you would like to see something specific, send us a notecard!

Breast Implants 

One of our classic innovations, today our Breast Applier system is one of the most advanced on Second Life. Built as an easy to use HUD (no messy multiple applier to clutter up your inventory), we support multiple brands of implants including our own vString Line (All Models), Ecorp (Overfilled, Anime and Naturals), Icon Bra Busters, Lolas (Tango, Mirage, Natural and Push ups). Although no longer officially supported, for those legacy skins, we do still offer Implant Nation Universal Appliers, but for our newer skins, be aware, we don’t support them.

You also get multiple versions of the breast appliers covering Natural, Freckled and oiled versions of both of those. Ori has 8 appliers – the above options and with tan lines.

In Addition, on the ADV release, we now have unique Lolas Tangos / vString Evo & Revolution appliers for the Extras and Muscle skins meaning the textures on the chest plate are carried over.

Mesh Applier System 

Bringing a whole new dimension to Verotic is our new Mesh applier system. With each skin you get 2 appliers – a Body applier, and a Face applier.

These extremely innovative appliers are a proactive system, rather than being a reactive system.  Rather than having hundreds of appliers for individual product lines, the Mesh Applier system just has the two appliers, and through innovate use of scripting which can be installed in to products, these applier can cover literately hundreds of products, as long as we have built a script for the said product.

At this moment, the appliers are designed to work with Violet Studios Polymorph product lines, Phat Azz, and Sking lower body “butt” mesh items (sadly not for full bodies).

More information on the Mesh applier can be found on the Mesh boards, however if you have a product that you would love to be able to use with your Verotic Skin, as long as it is Mod and is set up in a predictable way, we can take a look at it, and deploy a script update which you can then install in the product and it is then ADV compatible.
