Scalez Micro Macro BOM Update

 It has been a very long time since I last looked at Scalez, so long in fact I had to be nudged to remember that I should do this update.

In short, the Scalez Bodies now have all had Baked On Mesh updates ready to wear out of the box so now you can easily swap between your system layers and create unique looks. As with Fusion, ADV and Omega Materials still work perfectly on the skin layer to add that little extra and the Omega Tattoo and Clothing layers also continue to operate as expected.

To get your update, just head to the Fusion main store, go to the Casper redelivery terminal and click it, following the usual routes to get your updates.

What is this update? Well, that is a more interesting question...

Back in 2013, when mesh was just coming on the grid a small little company on SL had a really good idea. Yes, it was me and I suggested the idea to the powers that be that they use the Second Life Baked texture system to put Standard avatar textures on to mesh bodies.
We got the usual response though... utter silence.

At the end of last year though, guess what... they had a really good idea about putting baked textures on to mesh bodies...

I am really trying not to roll my eyes.

Anyhow, nice to see this system is finally being put to good use...

Now, All of the Fusion Ultima line - Pick n Mix, Bodies, Lower legs for furry and demon, etc have all been updated to Baked On Mesh.
Gym Bodies have also been converted as has Tudoto.

Grab the latest copies from the Casper Redelivery server in Fusion store. Details of the BOM update are in the boxes including instructions.

What is BOM though?
BOM is effective Baked Textures. A long time ago when mesh was a pipe dream and the height of SL design was sculpted prims, creators had to rely on the stock Second Life Avatar. Even today we still use the textures that were on that avatar - You find these in ADV or Omega Appliers.
That said, the Second Life avatar had an advantage over our versions. You could put multiple layers on - Skin, tattoo, jacket, pants, underwear etc etc etc. To stop massive texture load though from wearing so much, LL's created a way to combine all these textures in to one texture for the upper, lower or head. This is called Baking Textures.
When mesh came along, the Second Life Avatar became all but defunct as people turned to mesh bodies and creators had to work on the basis of making appliers for said bodies.
What baked on mesh does though is automatically transfers the baked textures LL's creates and put them on a mesh body. Simple really.

So, what is the basics of my version of BOM?

Firstly, Alpha Masking is set to off - don't use or wear an alpha mask of any kind. If you need to hide something you will have to use the Master Set up HUD. I did this because BOM sets the texture to Alpha - and this messes up the body with hair and other items that use alpha textures. It looks messy.

Secondly you can still use the Fusion clothing and tattoo layers if you want to.

Thirdly, if you just intend to use skin and tattoo, you can still use Omega Advanced or ADV appliers to add materials to the skin layer although trying to add skin textures will not work. In effect you can use an old skin with advanced materials from any skin creator.

There are quite a few other details to this including a new daily hud and updates scripting specs. All the details are included with BOM update.

I will tomorrow be finalising the design work on vStrings and Fusion Male, releasing those in to the wilds too.

Fusion Male - Furry Heavy Anthro Legs Released

As per Violet Studios Mantra, customers make our business and as such, after a customer asked for these, who am I to say no?

LTX - Forza Pony Gloves Released

This has been on the cards for a while and I kept forgetting to do them, but finally I have released them. One of my customers asked for the Forza arms to be refitted with Pony gloves and this is the result.

You get the same basic design as the Forza Gloves, but with the hands changed over to pony hooves.

It is 500L$ in store now and you get loads of options - just see the image above.

vString Revolution Orbz Breasts Released

Following on from the Revolution Version 5 Release, I am very pleased to announce the first new set of vString Revolutions for some time.
Orbz will be familiar to many as they were originally designed for Fusion Ultima however I have had a lot of customers asking for stand alone versions and who am I to deny that request.

You get full fitted mesh with Clothing, Underwear and Skin layers all Omega Advanced and ADV ready. You also get Pasties and a Classic Tanktop you can use with older applier - a nod to the past in a way.

They come with Large, Fat and Mega nipples versions and include three models - Tight, Overfilled and Hyper. There is also the standard vString piercing system too.

They are in store at 1000L$ which includes the Orbz Fusion Versions....
Talking of which....

Yes, with this release it does mean I have also updated Fusion Ultima Orbz with the additional nipples. You just need to wear your updater to get them or visit in store and see the redelivery terminal.

I also realise that some customers may want to upgrade to the full Revolution version. If you do, drop me a notecard inworld and I will be happy to do those upgrades for you for 500L$.

Fusion Ultima - vString Fusion Breasts Update

Back when Fusion Ultima was released, I said that I would get the original 1.5 nipple options converted, however with things like this, time is always a factor.

I am pleased to say though that I have updated the vString Fusion Petites, Naturals, Saline, Silicone, Helium and Stars with multiple nipple options.
You get the Original Flat Style nipple, the Large nipple, the Fat Nipple, and the Mega Nipple (Mega not available on Petites and Naturals)

This is a free update, so simply wear your updater or visit in store for the redelivery terminal.

On a side note, it has been noted that the Silicone Jiggler breasts had issues over their UV Mapping. I have tried repeatedly to fix this issues without success however after getting rather aggressive with them, they are now completely reworked and perfectly symmetrical once more.

Gym Bodies - Kelly Mesh Muscle Body now in Store

Fusion has its limits and when you are trying to make compatible mesh components there is always a limiting factor which is why I never really did a full on muscle mesh before.
Gym Bodies is the first of a series of Fitted Mesh bodies new to the Fusion Main store.
At its core it is based on the Fusion Ultima mesh structure and as a result, it uses the VSXR Genitalia, Hand (Inlcuding the Bento Fusion Hands) and Feet.
That though is where the cross overs end. Fusion Ultima Parts are NOT compatible with the body.

Beyond that though this is a whole new animal.
As you can see, I haven't pulled my punches here and this is a beautiful sensual and sexy muscle body. It comes with the specially designed StarLight Muscle Skin developed just for this body and there are 9 skin tones on offer. You get multiple special materials for the body too.

Fusion Ultima - Realz 5 Chests now in store

Not everything is about going big with Fusion and many customers have asked for something a little different.
The Realz Lower breasts as pretty much what they say. They sit lower on the chest in a more natural way.

Fusion Faun Hooves now available

I have had many people ask me for these over the years and I finally thought I would give these a go.

The Faun Hooves are actually very thin and almost stick like hooves. Even Skizma considering their size were quite well built. These are designed for slim to medium avatars.
You get a full compliment of Fusion compatibility as always, plus they are available as Stand Alone versions too for use with other mesh bodies / the stock SL avatar.

As with all Fusion Hooves, you get three layers (Skin / Clothing / Tattoo), Daily hud and Designer HUD's for the stand alone versions and free updates.

Demon Studio - Vespar 6 Hooves now available

These may have taken a while to produce, but I can finally announce the release of Vespar 6 Female Demon hooves. These revised hooves come with a fitted mesh stand alone version that can be used with the original SL avatar and potentially other mesh bodies.
You get Omega Advanced support, as well as a clothing and tattoo layer plus a daily hud to operate those layers.
As with all Tartarus Fusion hooves though, you get Fusion support as well giving you seamless body integration.
Due to the design the selection is limited to slimmer styles of body however you get tailored legs for:
Fusion Ultima Genesis, Model, Athletic, Skinny, Anime, Andro, All Woman, Wideloads Classic, and finally Tutodo.

You get all the usual refinements including huge options on the bone set ups through the Demon Studio Unlimited 3 system, glow colour and control and more.

These hooves being a direct update from the originals are also available as a free update for existing customers.

Fusion Ultima Female Bento Ready Hands

Been a while in coming but I am pleased to say the Fusion Ultima Female Bento ready mesh hands are now in store.
These are an add on to the original body priced at 200L$

They do not come with Bento animation to control them and will require the use of a Bento hand compatible AO or Hands HUD to work correctly however you can now have fully animated hands with your Fusion body.

Fusion Cloth and Tattoo Layer Together Glitch Fixed

It has been a thorn in my side ever since I released Fusion and all my fitted Mesh lines. That horrible bug where if you try to show the clothing and tattoo layers together, you get them in an all out fight with each other resulting in a patch work of badly rendering layers.

Good news!

Its now fixed!!

What you need to know: This affects Fusion Male, Fusion Female,  Tudoto, Fusion Demon hooves, Wideloads

What is the problem? From the first moment I deployed my fitted mesh line I have had a serious bug to deal with when it came to multiple clothing layers being shown at the same time. Some of you will have seen on the various huds the red Triangle with the ! in it next to the Show Tat and Cloth button.

This was there because of that bug. The bug itself came from two transparent layers (clothing and tattoo) trying to fight each other over which one was shown. The result was Fusion or any other body part using multiple clothing layers would have a funny half hour as it tried to render. You would see certain parts of the body showing one thing, and another part of the body showing the underwear over the top.

I know my customers have moaned about this a lot, and I didn't disagree but until today I had not figured out how some people on the grid were getting around this glitch.

The Solution! I had a customer come on this morning asking me about this bug and I decided to take a look at it with fresh eyes again. However I stumbled by accident on to the solution and as usual with Linden Lab, it was in the last place you would expect. Materials. I don’t know why it does this and I have asked some people with knowledge on the subject and they don’t know why either, but if materials are fitted to the clothing layer, it remains dominant. The Glitch is cured.

What's in the Update? In the box you will find an updated version of the Daily HUDs. On these huds are two new button. Fix Clothing layer and Remove Tattoo Layer Materials. These are here so you can fix any clothing item you put on quickly and easily.

There are caveats though. Firstly if the clothing item you have already comes with materials, then you don’t need to fix the cloth layer as it will wipe out the shine on them. Secondly if the underwear layer did come with materials you will have to lose it. However this is the solution that has eluded me for so long.

Don't worry about looking like you just jumped in a bucket of baby oil though. The Shine that this button applies is effectively set to nothing. There is no materials visible on the clothing layer.

Wear your updater to get the revised copy of the Daily HUD's. You wont have to change anything with your body - simply replace the old daily hud with the new one.

Wear your updaters or visit the redelivery terminals in store to get you updates!

The Result? You can now wear both clothing and Tattoo Layers together and they will not glitch.

Fusion Female - Femboi Upper Body

This is perhaps one of the stranger ones I have done on behalf of customers but one I hope they will appreciate. This is the new Fusion Femboi upper body.

Unlike previously, the Femboi Upper body is not based on Fusion Female's master template, but actually on Fusion Male. It features a well designed and well defined male upper body and arms, it includes the chest section too. Also included are mesh nipples and Male style pericings.

There are some limitations though. Firstly the breast sliders have been disabled on this model. Female and male sliders differ in their behaviour. Secondly there are no show hide zones due to the fact this is definately not a female chest and most likely wouldnt behave itself.

Just so we are clear though - this is a Fusion Female body part. Not Male. What this means is you can mix and match this to any of the female bodies.

Fusion Ultima Male Body Released

Short Version:

Fusion Ultima Male (Version 2) has now been released.

This is a complete, brand spanking new Version of the male body system built from the ground up with all new mesh, refined weight painting and hundreds of improvements all round. Just take a look at the above teaser... you get the idea.

All Fusion Male Bodies have brand new versions. The bodies include Genesis, Skinny, Athletic, Gladiator, Barbarian, Zerberus Demon, Drider and Mech Drider.

All Pick n Mix elements of the above bodies, as well as the Razel Hooves have all been update with brand new elements.

Some may argue it took me long enough. However realistically Fusion Ultima has barely been out a year now and what I did with the female bodies was a huge task involving thousands of hours of design and development work.

So, when it came to looking at Fusion Ultima Male, needless to say it was the same process all over again.

As with Ultima Female, the new version 2 male bodies started life with a completely built from scratch male body. The original Fusion Male and Female bodies were based on the Second Life Avatar however when Ultima came along for the female, I decided rightly to move away from the SL mesh due to one simple fact. Its rubbish. When it comes to male bodies, as I have said previously, the SL Avatar does not have a male body, but rather a rearranged female body to look male, and as a result of that you get a lot of oddities, hence the reason why I decided to start Ultima male with a blank sheet. Outside of the hands and feet, the Ultima Male body is 100% custom built as a male body.

Thanks to a considerable number of upgrades and lessons learnt from the Ultima Female body, the new Male bodies have been seriously finessed. All the older weight painting has been ditched in favour of the Ultima weight base giving far smoother and finished body movement. The body has been tested extensively to ensure its smooth operation.

In addition to this, gone is the limited show hide zones from Fusion replaced with over 70 show hide areas. You also get the new Master Set up HUD female customers will be familiar with to control the body set up.

On the set up side, you will find Ultima Male also lives up to expectations. On the designer hud you can find (finally) materials choices to give extra surface texturing and shine to the body. The body's skin, cloth and tattoo layers are also as you would expect mapped to the Second Life body, so you can use Omega Advanced on any area. In addition, hand and feet nail options are now Omega Compatible, opening up a wide choice of nail options.

On the upgrade side, beyond what is above, the clothing layer now features a crotch bulge adding for a little extra realism around clothing and you also now get pubic hair which is optional and toggleable. In addition you get the Ultima Female neck system which offers choices over how you want to set it up. Either full neck, blended neck, or no neck.

To sum up, Fusion Ultima Male takes the idea of the male body to a whole new level offerings all the benefits you expect from Fusion Ultima in a male body. This is perhaps the most advanced body for males out there today.

A quick note to let you know that the new Fusion Bubblez Body has been released.
A more extreme version of the Datass Body, Bubblez comes with a Regular or Hyper Torso set up as well as all the usual Fusion Ultima features.

Fusion Male - Drider & Mech Drider Bodies.

Okay I get the message. Guys really wanted these so who am I to argue?
What you have here are the Fusion Male versions of the Driders. As you can see they are every bit as imposing and scary as the female ones and look just as fantastic.
Featuring a combination of the Genesis upper body matched to a specifically made torso for the body adaption, these are every bit as good as they look.

The complete bodies are 2000L$ each.
However if you already have Fusion Male then there is Pick N Mix Torsos available for 1000L$.

Fusion Ultima Drider

Sometimes, things go according to plan. Other times, things just tend to happen. This one falls in to the latter category.

That is exactly what it looks like. It's a Drider.
It is also not exactly the regular fare for SL when it comes to Driders.

This is a full on Fusion Ultima Drider, built in Fitted Mesh.
It features functional legs pain stakingly weight painted to give the best illusion of independent movement. Highly detailed spider body with multiple zone texture areas, 22 two tone body textures, Abdomen overlay with 4 choices of textures. Legs and Abdomen are separate texture zones too. It comes with highly detailed materials.
The Human side matched in perfectly to the Spider body, comes with all the usual Fusion Ultima Benefits including clothing, anatomy etc. It also comes in two version - Blending in or no blend giving you choice to use the skin of your choice.
The Upper body and breasts are regular Fusion Ultima models from the Genesis body, which also means you can customise both of these areas with your choice of Breasts and upper bodies from the Fusion Range.

The Photo Shows the body using the LTX Kalis Cyber Latex outfit in black, which is not included.

Demos are available so you can try before you buy. The Full body is 2000L$ - some would say that is a steal at that price considering the detail work thats gone in to this.

Already own Fusion? Don't worry. I did a Pix n Mix Torso only too. That is 1000L$ and will match to your existing Fusion parts!

Tudoto 1.01 Release (Fusion Ultima Integration)

As always I love to listen to customer feedback and at this time I have been working through some updates to Tudoto. The 1.01 release comes with minor fixes throughout the body however most significantly, Tudoto now comes, as you can see above, with a Fusion Ultima ready Torso as a new bonus item.
Customer had given me feedback that they would love to use Fusion Ultima upper bodies and breast with Tudoto and who am I to argue.
